Shipping Policies:
UPDATED September 2, 2009:

For orders under $150.00, you will pay a flat fee of $5.75 for shipping. We are offering free shipping on orders over $150.00

We will no longer offer international shipping. We have had several packages returned due to customs fees, and we have had had two fraudulent orders that were shipped overseas. We are very sorry for this. As a small business, this decision was not entered into lightly. Thank you!

Payment:
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal. You may also phone your order in if you would like to pay by personal check.

Order Processing:
Most orders are shipped within 10-14 business days depending on availability. We strive to ship orders out within 2 business days. During July-September, shipping times may be longer. Some items may not be in stock and will be ordered from the publisher, which will cause further delays in shipping. We do our best to notify you when a product is out of stock for an extended period of time, but there are times when we may not contact you as soon as you would like. Please feel free to email us with any questions about out of stock items.

Shipping Methods:
We ship most orders via USPS Media Mail. Under some circumstances, we may ship your item(s) via UPS.

"Discount Home School Supplies" must be notified within 2 days of receipt of package concerning any damages caused by shipping. Although you may think that the items were damaged before shipping; our company strives to check and re-check each and every item before it is placed in your box for shipping. We do not send out damaged materials, and will need to be notified as soon as possible concerning any damaged items received. You will need to save the package that the materials were shipped in because UPS or US Mail may want to inspect the package.

Returns Policy:
Please contact us if you need to return an item. Returns must be made with 30 days of the ship date, and the item(s) must be in re-saleable condition. You must call or email for permission to return an item(s). Items purchased at conventions are not returnable.

Special Ordered Items: All Weaver Curriculum, AOP Boxed Electives or computer programs, SOS products, Science Kits, Microscopes and BJUP items cannot be returned, and if cancelled, will be charged the appropriate cancellation fee.

Cassettes, CD's, videos, and computer software cannot be returned under any circumstances, unless there is a manufacturer's defect to the product.

All unauthorized returns will be refused and no reimbursement for postage will be given.

Cancellation Policy:
If items were special ordered and are cancelled for any reason, those items will be charged a 25% fee of the total amount of the order including any shipping charges we may have incurred.

Charge Card Disputes:
If any charge is disputed for any reason, the customer will be charged a fee of $20.00.

Returned Check Policy:
There will be a $35.00 fee for all returned checks.

Price Guarantee:
Prices are subject to change without notice due to fluctuating prices from publishers. We strive to give our customers the best possible discounts. Occasionally, we make an error on a price. We reserve the right to contact you if we have made a substantial error in pricing.

Typographical Errors:

We are not perfect and make mistakes too, so please be understanding if we should happen to make a goof in typing. We use the descriptions provided by the publishers of the items we sell.

"Discount Home School Supplies" will not be held responsible for errors of phoned in orders. Please spell any unusual words and verify the items you ordered.
